Scribblenauts become DC Blind Box Heroes

DC Collectibles have announced its first line of vinyl figures based on the highly anticipated video game Scribblenauts Unmaksed: A DC Comics Adventure.

The 2.5” blind box mini figure series includes: Aquaman, Superman, Black Manta, Batman, Bane, Green Lantern Maxwell, Deadman, Batman: Blood Storm, Bizarro, Blue Suit Aquaman, Green Lantern and Sinestro as Scribblenauts versions along with a Golden Superman (possibly a chaser). Not much more is known but we'll keep you posted.

The Resound Field Guide from Scribe

Art Attack Toys announced on their Facebook Page that 'The Resound Field Guide' blind box series by Scribe is arriving this week. 

These rad blind box series of characters includes: Goat, Walrus, Octopus, Rhino, Hare, Lion and Elephant sold individually HERE for $8.95 USD or the display box contains all 7 characters and some variant colorways HERE for $142.95 USD. 

Upcoming Dunny Series 2013 Revealed

Spied over on Instagram is the much talked about upcoming Dunny Series 2013 set by Kidrobot. Here's the official roll call of awesome talent and ratios of figures available (left to right, top to bottom):

Lunartik's Doctor Who Series 1 and 2 Ready for You

We interviewed Matt Jones aka Lunartik HERE when he revealed that he had designed the very first Doctor Who mini-series along with Series 2. 

Produced by Titan Merchandise, Series 1 features 12 characters including: 

The 10th Doctor (David Tennant) in two outfits, the TARDIS, two Daleks, Sontaran, Vashta Nerada, a Weeping Angel, Davros, Clockwork Robot and the Cyber Leader as well as 4 hidden chase figures. 

Series 2 features 12 characters including: 

The 11th Doctor (Matt Smith), the TARDIS, five Daleks, an Ood, a Silent, a Silurian, a Juddon and a Cyberman as well as 4 hidden chase figures. 

Each figure is 3" blind-boxed with certain figures come with a character-specific accessory and can be pre-ordered from HERE now for release in August. Or you can purchase series 1 direct from Matt's site August 1 from HERE.

Funko The Walking Dead' Blind Box Figures

The cat is out of the bag from Reis O'Brian a toy designer at Funko who post the first image of his designed 'The Walking Dead' blind box mini figures.

The 2 1/2" tall vinyl mini figures are a combination of Merle Dixon, Daryl Dixon, the Tank Walker, Well Walker, Prison Guard Walker, and so much more from the hit Comic and TV series. 

The blood splatted display box case contains 24 individually packaged blind box figures and can be found here to pre-order now for an August release.

Pillaging Pop Culture Wave 5

We've posted before about Task One's rad "Pillaging Pop Culture, Series 1" blind boxed custom series that depicts Task's spin on 'The Muppets'. The three figures being released this wave is Scooter, Dr. Teeth, and Zoot! Each wave is only available for two weeks so you only have a few days left to grab Wave 4!

Tenacious Toys still have a limited number of full sets of the whole series of 18 characters so far. which is a lot less than some consumers spend hunting down a full set of a production series. If you do purchase the full set, a “free” chase figure which is not part of the 18pc set will be rewarded and while the exact run size is not revealed, the series is limited. 

Mezco Mez-itz's the DC Universe

Mezco announced today that their 2″ DC Universe Mez-itz will be available in a blind boxed format.

The characters included are: Aquaman, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn. Each contains six characters from the DC Universe with 10 unique designs; each Mez-itz has a specific rarity scale with a super rare chase figure.

As is typically for blind-boxed toys there will be common, rare and super-rare figures. Each case will have a three boxes of 24 figures, so a total of 72 units and will include a complete set of all 10 designs.

this September.

The Game of Thrones Mystery Minis are Coming!
