Marvel Mystery Minis to the Rescue

Comics 'N' Toys over at FunkoFanatic's has posted a photo revealing the new Marvel Comics Mystery Minis Series 1, which was announced late last year. The 2.5" blind boxed figures includes left to right:

Galactus, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Phoenix, Loki, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Deadpool (variant), Thanos, Ultron, Green Goblin, Punisher, Hulk, Loki (Variant) and Silver Surfer

Just like the announced The Walking Dead Minis these marvelous mini vinyls will retail for approx $5 USD per blind box or in bulk as a 24 box set. These will be available in the first quarter of this year so be on the look out at your local Funko supplier.

3DRetro and Nathan Hamill's SDCC CMYK Octopup's

3DRetro should just have to direct access to our bank accounts with all these rad SDCC exclusives! Next up is Nathan Hamill's Octopup which we mentioned HERE but now in an awesome "CMYK" 4-pack.

The 2" tall 4-pack of the Japanese made sofubi vinyl in Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black are all polybagged with header card and will be available for $40 USD at  the3DRetro booth (5051) at SDCC with Nathan himself on hand for signings Saturday at 2pm. Get on it before they're all gone as these colorful Octopups are very limited!

VISEone Squeezes Out Some Zombie Goo

VISEone has revealed the prototype with co-operation from Flying LuLu of his latest tube creation 'Zombie Goo'. 

The rad 8" tall handstanding vinyl 4 fingered zombie hand will be made in time to be at the Tenacious Toys booth at NYCC. So keep an eyes peeled for it's release and other colorways VISEone has planned.

Medicom Toys Sofubi Exclusive Seagool

Paul Kaiju and Lulubell Toys have released their sofubi 'Seagool' as part of Medicom Toys Exclusive ‘Flying to Japan’ edition! 

The 4.7" tall creature from the deep has a nice glossy black soft vinyl and has been hand sprayed in a mix of teal and silver sprays, coming complete with pink, red and white detailing. You can now pre-order HERE and expected fro release in August.

Hugh Rose: Custom Awesomeness

We got this amazing tip from Vinyl Pulse who did a feature piece on Hugh Rose custom vinyl artist.

A lot of Hugh's toys have a classic nautical theme but the one we could go past was his 'Diver' and 'Once and Future King' Munny. The detail in this and all his body of work is exquisit and worth having in one of his pieces in your collection. 

Hugh mainly creates for shows and direct sales through his site, but he does take commissions. So check out his other rad work HERE or on his Facebook page HERE.

Funko are off to see the Wizard of OZ

Funko are off to see the Wizard with their latest release of images of the Wizard of OZ POP! figures series 2.

This time around the vinyl figures will be the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Glinda The Good Witch, with the detail in of the Tim Man and Cowardly Lion are pretty. So to pre-order yours today follow the Yellow Brick Road to HERE, with the figures due for release in August.

Flawtoys Awesome Custom Labbit Rider

FlawToys shared the full reveal of their Dunny and Labbit combo custom, ‘Labbit Rider’. 

This 3″ vinyl piece features two custom figures both done in FlawToys signature custom style. Both the sculpting and paint work is superb especially the wooden areas. Labbit Rider will be available on May 31 HERE.

It's Billy Insane for Dolly Oblong

Dolly Oblong have finally released images on their Blog of their latest vinyl figure
'Billy Insane'. 

Inspired by David Bowies "Ziggy Stardust' persona, this 3" glow in the dark Billy Brains custom was released at ToyCon UK and was a limited edition of 3 which sold out straight away at the con.

But fear not, as Dolly Oblong asure us that more might appear in the not so distant future.

Lunartik's Doctor Who Series 1 and 2 Ready for You

We interviewed Matt Jones aka Lunartik HERE when he revealed that he had designed the very first Doctor Who mini-series along with Series 2. 

Produced by Titan Merchandise, Series 1 features 12 characters including: 

The 10th Doctor (David Tennant) in two outfits, the TARDIS, two Daleks, Sontaran, Vashta Nerada, a Weeping Angel, Davros, Clockwork Robot and the Cyber Leader as well as 4 hidden chase figures. 

Series 2 features 12 characters including: 

The 11th Doctor (Matt Smith), the TARDIS, five Daleks, an Ood, a Silent, a Silurian, a Juddon and a Cyberman as well as 4 hidden chase figures.

New The Walking Dead Funko POP! Figures

We posted HERE about the new Walking Dead Governor Funk POP! figure sketches, well now we can show you the real deal plus an added bonus of the antagonist Merle and super cool Prison Guard Walker.

Upon further investigation we discovered that Funko will also be releasing a crazy in the coconut Prison Yard Rick Grimes with machette. 

This new and exciting range of The Walking Dead vinyl figures can be pre-ordered now from HERE and due for release in August.

Brandon has Landed from Ume Toys

We spied this on Richard Page aka Ume Toys' instagram page and now we are pleased to see the first finished 'Brandon'. 

This new sophisticated species of bird stands at around 4.5" with silk and gloss accents possible legs and a rad skull top hat reminiscent of Slash from Guns and Roses. 

He will be released at the Cardiff Tattoo and Toy Con, so if you're in the area drop by the booth. No further details on when or where else Brandon will be released, but we can't wait to get our hands on him.

Three New Exciting Funko POP! Movies Series Coming Soon

Through a source we received the first images of three new POP! Movies series Funko is currently producing that you fans and collectors are going to love. The three series are Back to the Future, The Big Labowski and Clerks. 

Is seems that it's going to be a regular feature of Funko producing additional accessories for your figures such as cars like the totally rad DeLorean from Back to the Future. 

As you can see they are only the prototype images but we you can pre-order all three series from HERE with Clerks due for release in July, The Big Labowski in August and Back to the Future in November.

Astrogangar to the Rescue Exclusively from Medicon Toy

Medicon Toy have announced their exclusive release of their 'Astrogangar' figure.

"Astroganger was a 1972 Japanese animation about a Super Robot anime series created by Knack Productions and an alien woman named Maya crash-lands on Earth. Her homeworld was destroyed by the Blasters, a cruel alien race who steals the natural resources from other planets. She falls in love with a scientist and gives birth to a human boy named Kentaro. When the Blasters invade the Earth, Kentaro must defeat them by fighting with Astroganger, a robot made from living metal."

The 12" articulated arms and head vinyl figure comes in two colorways of original and fake (yeah you read that right). You can pre-order the living metal Robot now from HERE with plans to release in late August.
