Scribblenauts become DC Blind Box Heroes

DC Collectibles have announced its first line of vinyl figures based on the highly anticipated video game Scribblenauts Unmaksed: A DC Comics Adventure.

The 2.5” blind box mini figure series includes: Aquaman, Superman, Black Manta, Batman, Bane, Green Lantern Maxwell, Deadman, Batman: Blood Storm, Bizarro, Blue Suit Aquaman, Green Lantern and Sinestro as Scribblenauts versions along with a Golden Superman (possibly a chaser). Not much more is known but we'll keep you posted.

DC Collectibles 'Bombshells' Batgirl

The New York Post got the exclusive reveal from DC Collectibles of their latest “Bombshells” Batgirl statue.

DC’s Bombshells line reimagines the company’s strongest women characters as 1940s- and ‘50s-style archetypes: sort of Rosie-the-Riveter-meets-Pin-Up-Girl. So far, we’ve seen Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Harley Quinn. - New York Post

Designed by Ant Lucia and sculpted by Tim Miller is nicely detailed and will make a fine addition to Bombshells line. This awesome Bombshell Batgirl statue stands at 10.5" high and is due out in January 2014 for $125 USD.

Action Figure fans get excited as DC Comics has released this behind the scenes look at the digital sculpting process for The New 52 Armoured Lex Luthor action figure.

New 52 Swamp Thing Deluxe Action Figure

DC Collectibles have released a video showing off their upcoming The New 52 Swamp Thing Deluxe Action Figure.

The 10" tall, 23 point articulated beast of the swamp has possible wings that extend to a massive 15" and comes with sword and shield accessories.

No other details on price or location to purchase but what we do know is that this 10 year in the waiting Swamp Thing will be released in December. 

DC Collectible SDCC Exclusives

DC Collectibles has unveiled their convention-exclusive products that will be offered only to those attending. First up is Super Best Friends Forever Action Figures, Supergirl, Batgirl and Wonder Girl designed by Lauren Faust and sculpted by Irene Matar are on the way. Measuring approx 6.5”, 5.45” and 6.8” tall the 3 pack is priced at $49.95

Next up is the Aardman Superman Action Figure designed by Rich Webber and sculpted by Phil Ramirez. He is based on the popular interstitial shorts shown during DC Nation on Cartoon Network. Aardman: Superman is approximately 6.5” tall and is priced at $24.95.

For lovers of DC Nation or the DC Universe these two figures will make a perfect place in your collection.
