Holy 1966 Funko POP's Batman!

Get excited because the next wave from Funko POP! after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the classic "1966 BATMAN TV Series" and here's a sneak-peek thanks to the exclusive from Bat-Blog.comHow awesome and super cute is the 1966 Batmobile Car with Batman Pop figure! A first indeed.

In the image Batman ( Adam West ) does look a little smaller than Robin The Boy Wonder (Burt Ward) but it's great to see that Funko have started with the classic vinyl villains of Catwoman (Julie Newmar) and The Joker (Cesar Romero).

But holy hopefuls Batman we see The Riddler (Frank Gorshin), The Penguin (Burgess Meredith) and maybe even Batgirl added into series later on.
No word yet on when the 1966 Batman series will be available but keep tune in, same Bat time, same Bat channel to stay up to date.

Stone Cold Awesome Lions from GOODSTUPH & FLABSLAB

Over at The Damn Good Shop the Lion does not sleep tonight. In fact the Lions produced by FLABSLAB, and GOODSTUPH Stone Lions are not your average Stone Lions at all.

"Deep within the secret vaults of the GOODSTUPH studio, something stirs as the stone lions awake with the quiet yawn of a purr. She instinctively reaches for a pack and taps it twice with her paws. With a stick hanging carelessly between her feline teeth, she lights it up. He, on the other hand, has no patience for smoke breaks (he never could find the damned yellow box), but always keeps a bottle close – this lion needs his alcohol.
Don’t mess with this pair of fearsome stone lions – they not only keep out vampires, werewolves and actresses with a single emotion; you can also count on them to stand steadfast at your entrance, refusing to let shit out the door with a cuss."

You also receive a GOODSTUPH Stone Lions Birth Certificate to put your name down as the proud parents of these lions, so that no one can paw them away from you. Be quick to order as these delightful beasts are limited to 88 pairs for sale only.

Gold Bonus for Lego Mini Fig Series 10

Like a scene from Willy Wonka, Lego is offer a rear golden tick, or should we say Golden Mini Fig

Series 10 has a Gold Bonus Figure and they are 1 of 5000 world wide and are event numbered in the bag. Here's what Lego said:
"Rumor has it that somewhere out there is a very special Minifigure known as Mr. Gold. Shining and golden from the top of his tall top hat to the tips of his toes, he may be discovered in all sorts of unexpected places, but he never seems to turn up exactly when and where you’re looking for him. According to legend, Mr. Gold will bring you luck if you happen to spot him…or is it that you’ll need to have a lot of luck to find him? Either way, everybody wants to find the mysterious Golden Minifigure – but only a fortunate few will succeed!"

Some sources say he is fully chromed, but since nobody had actually photographed one yet, doubts remain. Pictures of him appear more pearl gold or metallic gold.

So with no reports yet on Mr Gold being found, do you have what it takes to find one?

10-Doh! Series 2 is a Go!

Congratulations to Nate Mitchell aka Squid Kids Ink for successfully achieving over the set goal of $15,000 on his 10-Doh! Series 2 Kickstarter campaign. Just like the first series the second has a fantastic line up of artist contributing their talents:

For those of you who are unaware, 10-Doh! is one of the characters from the "So Analog(tm)" label by Squid Kids Ink, an original brand meant to pay homage to the fallen forms of technology that many of us grew up with. The 10-Doh! figure was inspired by the classic NES cartridge and is designed to be a blank canvas for artists of all kinds to show off their talents.

If all goes to plan 10-Doh! Series 2 will debut at the Squid Kids Ink booth (#5150) at San Diego Comic Con in July. So go say hi and pick yourself up one or all of the new series.
