DKE and The Sucklord Kickstart S.U.C.K.L.E

DKE and The Sucklord debuted the first 5 sculpts of The Super Sucklord's mini figure line, S.U.C.K.L.E. at last years SDCC. Now they are raising funds on Kickstarter to produce a butt ton of the mini figures know as S.U.C.K.L.E. (Simply Unimportant Collectable Kitschy Little Eyesores).

"The Super Sucklord and his brand Suckadelic have been making custom resin art "toys" for over 10 years. Classic vintage toys have always been a huge inspiration for his work. S.U.C.K.L.E. pays homage to the classic mid-eighties toy line M.U.S.C.L.E. by Mattel. The figures are roughly the same size and made similarly out of solid color injection molded PVC plastic. Each of the Suckadelic characters will be immortalized in the same mini wrestler style as the original M.U.S.C.L.E. figures and stand approximately 2 inches tall. If you are already a M.U.S.C.L.E. collector these figures should display perfectly with your vintage figures."

So what are you waiting for? The figures sculpted by George Gaspar of October Toys are awesome and the rewards are in true Sucklord style. To start your mini fig collection or add some more unique characters to an exsisting one then make your pledge by going HERE.

Kickstart House of Monsters the Sequel

It's not a toy related but it's a Kickstarter we think is pretty cool that could make some rad toys if they did. Last year Dawn Brown made a little short film called House of Monsters. Now Dawn wants to create a sequel to the House of Monsters this time featuring a vampire who discovers creative way to have fun in the sun.

"The story is done! The character designs are done! The set designs are done! We've taken this as far as we can before jumping into the expensive stuff. House of Monsters creator Dawn Brown has assembled a small but mighty crew of Hollywood's most talented artists to help bring these monsters to life." - Dawn Brown

Otto the Octopus is FiveFtTwo in need of Pledges

FiveFtTwo have taken to Indiegogo, campaigning to get the first character of their "Underwater Adventures" series 'Otto the Octopus' out with his friends to follow behind him.

Otto's Story: Currently the rubber ducky has no-one to play with. Although this isn't the only reason we created Otto and friends, we think that children, parents and hipsters alike deserve another friend for the bathtub. Otto is the loyal friend that we all need. He is always there for you to brighten your day. Otto loves leisurely swimming sideways & bopping around in the water. - FiveFtTwo

10-Doh! Series 2 is a Go!

Congratulations to Nate Mitchell aka Squid Kids Ink for successfully achieving over the set goal of $15,000 on his 10-Doh! Series 2 Kickstarter campaign. Just like the first series the second has a fantastic line up of artist contributing their talents:

For those of you who are unaware, 10-Doh! is one of the characters from the "So Analog(tm)" label by Squid Kids Ink, an original brand meant to pay homage to the fallen forms of technology that many of us grew up with. The 10-Doh! figure was inspired by the classic NES cartridge and is designed to be a blank canvas for artists of all kinds to show off their talents.

If all goes to plan 10-Doh! Series 2 will debut at the Squid Kids Ink booth (#5150) at San Diego Comic Con in July. So go say hi and pick yourself up one or all of the new series.
