'White Star Edition' Outer Space Men at NYCC

The Four Horsemen have announced they will be selling 'White Star Edition' Outer Space Men at NYCC.

Designed to match another set of all-white Outer Space Men figures which were sold at the ActionFigureXpress' SDCC booth, the Four Horsemen will be making these six rad figures available both individually and in smaller sets that are packaged in poly-bags with “White Star Edition” stickers.

Here is the breakdown of the articulated figures and their prices:

Street Fighter Bobble Budds Series 2 Figures

Multiverse Studio have announced Round 2 for their successful Street Fighter Bobble Budds figure series. 

Based on the classic videogame fighting game Street Fighter, the Bobble Budds Round 2 roster will consist of Ken, Zangief, Guile, and Cammy.

Each rad 3.5" tall exclusive bobble head comes with a special locking mechanism for the head, articulated arms and will be released in July 2013 from HERE.

All Hail My Royal Ego's LordUltra

Okky Abell Octovan from My Royal Ego wants you to bow to his latest release 'LordUltra'.

This rad designed resin combo of Darth Vader and Ultraman stands 14" tall in super high-gloss paint and rad fabric cape.

No word yet on when or where the LordUltra figure will be released but we'll let you know when more details come to light.

Fugitive Toys Funko POP! SDCC Exclusives

Fugitive Toys have announced they will be releasing a set of four SDCC Exclusive Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures as well as a a few previous store exclusives which include:

The Walking Dead Blood Splattered Governor, Black & White Dr. Doom, Black & White Spider-man, Black & White Wolverine, Blood Splattered Tank Zombie, Inverse Deadpool and Black Flash.

If you can't make it to SDCC there is a solution to pre-order them from HERE and due for release in late July.

Funko are off to see the Wizard of OZ

Funko are off to see the Wizard with their latest release of images of the Wizard of OZ POP! figures series 2.

This time around the vinyl figures will be the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Glinda The Good Witch, with the detail in of the Tim Man and Cowardly Lion are pretty. So to pre-order yours today follow the Yellow Brick Road to HERE, with the figures due for release in August.

Three New Exciting Funko POP! Movies Series Coming Soon

Through a source we received the first images of three new POP! Movies series Funko is currently producing that you fans and collectors are going to love. The three series are Back to the Future, The Big Labowski and Clerks. 

Is seems that it's going to be a regular feature of Funko producing additional accessories for your figures such as cars like the totally rad DeLorean from Back to the Future. 

As you can see they are only the prototype images but we you can pre-order all three series from HERE with Clerks due for release in July, The Big Labowski in August and Back to the Future in November.

Ajee Does Kosplay

Produced by ExtendedPlayZ. 'Kosplay' is the latest from french artist Ajee who designed and sculpted the figure as well.

The 8" Kosplay Girl (un)dressed as a skull has articulated arms and head with the base and cape removable. While the 4" Polar Bear is disguised as a panda. The panda is more endangered than the polar bear. Maybe she did a makeup on him to protect him a little longer?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Munny Customs

Artist David Kraig has gone above and beyond the call of duty with this commission request to create the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from original Munny's.

The 6" super sculpey and acrylic paint figures are amazing and can tell David's time and understanding of the true essence of the Turtle Bros. Too bad this was only a custom and not a limited series for release. To see more images of these rad customs go HERE.

Funko POP! Disney Series 5 Revealed

Funko released more images today for their 5th series of Disney POP! range of vinyl figures. 

The super cute line up includes: Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Baloo (Jungle Book), Carl (Up!), Dumbo, Genie (Aladdin), Jafar (Aladdin), Jasmine (Aladdin), King Louie (Jungle Book), Mary Poppins, Merida, Rocketeer and Russel (Up!).

This awesome new vinyl series will make a great addition to the already successful range and will drop June 27 or you can pre-order them now from HERE.

Axe Cop Action Figures Coming Soon!

Mezco have released some awesome images of their exclusive Axe Cop action figure series.

Daft Punk Action Figures

Like most of the world you're probably listening to Random Access Memories by Daft Punk. 

Now you can order the Daft Punk pair of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter thanks to S.H. Figuarts. 

These life like 5.5" head and hand metal plated figures are nicely detailed and well articulated to strike a dance pose of two. You can now pre-order the figures HERE which are due to drop November.

There's something odd about Sonic

Funko will be releasing yet another franchise later this month with Sonic the Hedgehog and consistently like the other POP! figures the three characters from the popular video game Sonic, Knuckles and Tails all stand at 4" tall. 

Other than each character package in a window box that's where we think the consistency ends.

Sonic appears to be squinting for some reason and we can think of another Funko character who has been designed like this. It may be the photos (supplied by Funko) but the paint on all three figures appears to be a little out of the lines and a bit chunky. 

Like we said it may just be the photos (which isn't great promotion for the product). Sure collectors and fans will buy them and we don't have anything against Funk POP! figures, in fact we love them but are these a less figure than it's predecessors? You can pre-order all three vinyl figures from here with release date at the end of May

Star Wars Vinylmation Series 3 sees the Return of the Jedi

Disney's popular Star Wars Vinylmation series 3 is back and this time based entirely on Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. 

Star Wars Vinylmation Series 3 includes Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Admiral Ackbar, Lando Calrissian in Skiff Guard Disguise, Princess Leia as the bounty hunter Boushh, a Gamorrean Guard, Nien Nunb, the Emperor’s Royal Guard, Ewok Logray, an Imperial Biker Scout, Ewok Wicket and Bib Fortuna.

This series has one variant, a maskless Princess Leia as Boushh, and one super rare chaser, the evil Emperor Palpatine. There is some main characters missing from the series like Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2. Star Wars Vinylmation Series 3 will be a limited edition release sold blind box style beginning on May 17.

And get super excited about the Han Solo in Carbonite 3” Vinylmation window boxed figure which has a limited run of 2,000 pieces which will drop June 7.

And last but not least is Disney’s very first 9” Star Wars Vinylmation figure Jabba the Hutt. The awesome accessory to Jabba is a 1.5” Salacious B. Crumb Vinylmation figure. This also has a limited run with only 1,000 pieces that will drop May 24.
