Guardians of the Galaxy POP in for Funko!

Marvel have announced that Funko is currently working on a Guardians of the Galaxy POP range. 

The figures as seen here of Starlord, Drax and Groot are still in prototype, but Funko has hinted they they will be ready in time for the New York Toy Fair in mid February. These figures and more will also be available in the 2.5" Mystery Minis figures, with Rocket Raccoon expected to be the highlight of both.

Marvel Mystery Minis to the Rescue

Comics 'N' Toys over at FunkoFanatic's has posted a photo revealing the new Marvel Comics Mystery Minis Series 1, which was announced late last year. The 2.5" blind boxed figures includes left to right:

Galactus, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Phoenix, Loki, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Deadpool (variant), Thanos, Ultron, Green Goblin, Punisher, Hulk, Loki (Variant) and Silver Surfer

Just like the announced The Walking Dead Minis these marvelous mini vinyls will retail for approx $5 USD per blind box or in bulk as a 24 box set. These will be available in the first quarter of this year so be on the look out at your local Funko supplier.

The Walking Dead Mystery Minis Take 2

With the success of their first series, Funko are releasing the second series of The Walking Dead Mystery Minis. 

Featuring 24 unique characters including the ever popular Daryl, Michonne, The Governor, Rick, Carl and some Zombies. 

These rad minis will be available at your Funko retailer or online in February.

12 New Funko POP! Exclusives

Just when you think the Funko train is slowing down they go and release an onslaught of new POP figures. ToyWiz have announced My Little Pony metallic exclusive figures of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie you can buy separately HERE for $9.99 USD, or together HERE for $18.99 USD. Rainbow Dash on the other hand appears to be only available for all three together HERE at $27.99 USD.

Funko continued to reveal more SDCC exclusives by revealed their next series from The Big Bang Theory. The POP vinyl figures of Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj are wearing Star Trek uniforms while in the middle of transporting.

With the recent release of the hit animated film Despicable Me 2 it was only a matter of time before we saw Dave and the Evil Minion but like My Little Pony they too are in metallic form. A glow in the dark Carl will also be available to serve your collection. you'll be able to get your hands on both the Big Bang Theory guys and Dispicable Me 2 minions from the Funk SDCC booth (5343).

Last but not least comes from the Marvel range with very limited editions Metallic Deadpool and Metallic Ghost Rider both will be available for $15.00 USD from the SDCC Marvel booth (2329).

Funko are off to see the Wizard of OZ

Funko are off to see the Wizard with their latest release of images of the Wizard of OZ POP! figures series 2.

This time around the vinyl figures will be the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Glinda The Good Witch, with the detail in of the Tim Man and Cowardly Lion are pretty. So to pre-order yours today follow the Yellow Brick Road to HERE, with the figures due for release in August.

New The Walking Dead Funko POP! Figures

We posted HERE about the new Walking Dead Governor Funk POP! figure sketches, well now we can show you the real deal plus an added bonus of the antagonist Merle and super cool Prison Guard Walker.

Upon further investigation we discovered that Funko will also be releasing a crazy in the coconut Prison Yard Rick Grimes with machette.

Three New Exciting Funko POP! Movies Series Coming Soon

Through a source we received the first images of three new POP! Movies series Funko is currently producing that you fans and collectors are going to love. The three series are Back to the Future, The Big Labowski and Clerks. 

Is seems that it's going to be a regular feature of Funko producing additional accessories for your figures such as cars like the totally rad DeLorean from Back to the Future. 

As you can see they are only the prototype images but we you can pre-order all three series from HERE with Clerks due for release in July, The Big Labowski in August and Back to the Future in November.

Funko POP! Disney Series 5 Revealed

Funko released more images today for their 5th series of Disney POP! range of vinyl figures. 

The super cute line up includes: Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Baloo (Jungle Book), Carl (Up!), Dumbo, Genie (Aladdin), Jafar (Aladdin), Jasmine (Aladdin), King Louie (Jungle Book), Mary Poppins, Merida, Rocketeer and Russel (Up!).

This awesome new vinyl series will make a great addition to the already successful range and will drop June 27 or you can pre-order them now from HERE.

Funko POP! visits the Planet of the Apes

Funko has released more Pop! Movies vinyl figures into the wild, this time in the Planet of the Apes form.The classic series will include Cornelius, Dr. Zaius, General Ursus and an Ape Soldier.

Each seriously rad 3.75” tall Planet of the Ape vinyl figure has arm articulation and comes in traditional full color displayable window box packaging . You can get your paws on these dirty apes now by pre-ordering HERE now, with a release date later this month.

Funko The Walking Dead' Blind Box Figures

The cat is out of the bag from Reis O'Brian a toy designer at Funko who post the first image of his designed 'The Walking Dead' blind box mini figures.

The 2 1/2" tall vinyl mini figures are a combination of Merle Dixon, Daryl Dixon, the Tank Walker, Well Walker, Prison Guard Walker, and so much more from the hit Comic and TV series. 

The blood splatted display box case contains 24 individually packaged blind box figures and can be found here to pre-order now for an August release.

Holy New Images of Funko POP!'s 1966 Batman Series

We post why back in April about the artwork for the new Funk POP! 1966 Batman series. Well the Funko Pop! Vinyl Fan Page has posted images of a few of the upcoming characters of Batman, Robin, The Joker and Catwoman.

All four dynamically detailed figures come window display packaging and are now available for pre-order from here with a release due in September.

There's something odd about Sonic

Funko will be releasing yet another franchise later this month with Sonic the Hedgehog and consistently like the other POP! figures the three characters from the popular video game Sonic, Knuckles and Tails all stand at 4" tall. 

Other than each character package in a window box that's where we think the consistency ends.

Sonic appears to be squinting for some reason and we can think of another Funko character who has been designed like this. It may be the photos (supplied by Funko) but the paint on all three figures appears to be a little out of the lines and a bit chunky. 

Like we said it may just be the photos (which isn't great promotion for the product). Sure collectors and fans will buy them and we don't have anything against Funk POP! figures, in fact we love them but are these a less figure than it's predecessors? You can pre-order all three vinyl figures from here with release date at the end of May
