Funko DC Comics POP! Heroes Wave 4

We're a bit late on this one but Funko has officially announced its DC Comics POP! Heroes Wave 4 and they're awesome!

Wave 4 includes Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Superboy, Darkseid and Batman Beyond

Each vinyl figure stands at the usual 3.75” tall, with articulated head and comes in window display box packaging. 

These POP Heroes can be pre-ordered HERE now with an expected release in September.

Beware of the Batman Action Figure

Mattel’s Batman Unlimited line has finally revealed their new Beware the Batman figure. The 6″ inch version of Batman from the CGI animated Beware the Batman series features a new sculpt and not a mashup of previous or unused figure parts.

"For Beware the Batman figures as part of the Batman Unlimited Line.These figures feature a fabulous new design about which our design team is very excited! The great thing about Batman Unlimited Line the is that it allows us to pull from all of the sources of Batman content."

No other details on the Beware of the Batman figure are available but what we do know is that this figure is due to drop August.

DC Collectible SDCC Exclusives

DC Collectibles has unveiled their convention-exclusive products that will be offered only to those attending. First up is Super Best Friends Forever Action Figures, Supergirl, Batgirl and Wonder Girl designed by Lauren Faust and sculpted by Irene Matar are on the way. Measuring approx 6.5”, 5.45” and 6.8” tall the 3 pack is priced at $49.95

Next up is the Aardman Superman Action Figure designed by Rich Webber and sculpted by Phil Ramirez. He is based on the popular interstitial shorts shown during DC Nation on Cartoon Network. Aardman: Superman is approximately 6.5” tall and is priced at $24.95.

For lovers of DC Nation or the DC Universe these two figures will make a perfect place in your collection.

Ugly Dols go Hero with DC Comics

Uglydolls and DC Comics have announced their collaboration together that will see Uglydolls characters become DC Comic superheroes in plush form! The first two are two versions (modern and retro designs) of Ice Bat as Batman and Babo as Superman. 

Standing at 11" tall the Uglydolls DC plushes will be released in August but you can first seem on display at this years SDCC in July.

Funko will also be producing some vinyl figures based on the Uglydolls and DC Comics collaboration that will be released in time for the holiday season but no images or any other information has come forward but we'll keep you up to date.

The Next Two Exclusive Funko Pop!

The Funko POP! Vinyl Fan Page has the low down on new images which popped up today of two upcoming Pop! Vinyl figures that are exclusives first before being released to retailers. 

Hot Topic will be getting the new DC Comics 'Superboy' Pop! Vinyl Figure exclusively first. 
while other retailers will get it at an unspecified date.

Conquest Comics are receiving an awesome exclusive with the Marvel Glow In The Dark 'White Phoenix' Pop! Vinyl Figure.

No other details have been made available yet on both figures but we'll keep you up to date.

3 New Funko 'New 52' DC Comics Pop! Heroes

Funko are releasing the second wave of 'New 52' DC Comics Pop! Heroes vinyl figures! The duty roll includes Green Lantern, The Flash and Aquaman all looking ready for some fighting action.

The Previews exclusive vinyl figures each stand at 3.75” tall with one point head articulation, and comes packaged in its traditional full color window box. You can pre-order the these three members of the Justice League here and will drop in July.

Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern Play Arts Kai Figures

Square Enix has released official images of the upcoming DC Comics Play Arts Kai figures. 
These bad ass variant figures of Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern stand at 11" tall and come with additional hands and weapon accessories for those heroic poses. 

Each figure will retail for approx. $90 USD and due to drop in August from here.

There's a Darkseid to Funko POP!

Funko released an image today on their Facebook page of the prototype for their upcoming Darkseid POP! figure. The menacing New God looks pretty cool in prototype fase, so we can't wait to see him in all his colored vinylness.  

Part of Funko’s upcoming DC Comics Pop! Heroes Wave 4, which you can pre-order Darkseid from here and is expected to drop sometime in July.

Happy 75th Birthday Superman

Our earthly sun must really agree with Superman as today is his 75th Birthday today or more accurately his first appearance in Action Comics #1 for DC Comics.

Superman is not only now seen as an American icon but now a becon for hope and that anything is possible for everyone all over the world. To celebrate we thought we'd show you the Supermuseum in Metropolis, Illinois. Not only is it an achieve of cool Superman memorabilia but it also hold the worlds largest collection of Superman & Superman related action & designer figures.

Mezco Mez-itz's the DC Universe

Mezco announced today that their 2″ DC Universe Mez-itz will be available in a blind boxed format.

The characters included are: Aquaman, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn. Each contains six characters from the DC Universe with 10 unique designs; each Mez-itz has a specific rarity scale with a super rare chase figure.

As is typically for blind-boxed toys there will be common, rare and super-rare figures. Each case will have a three boxes of 24 figures, so a total of 72 units and will include a complete set of all 10 designs.
